So I can eat pizza!

At the age of 40 I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and weighed 219. If I was going to make it to 50 I had to do something and giving up pizza wasn’t an option. I started to ride to work, every day, rain or shine, and any day when the snow wasn’t more than 6 inches deep. Of course, changing my eating habits was important but without some form of regular excercise my health wasn’t going to change. I lost 49 pounds, got the blood pressure and cholesterol back down to healthy levels and have been able to maintain that level of health for 16 years. I save money on gas, car insurance, car maintenance, and prescriptions. Oh, and I sitll get to indulge in an occasional pizza!
