Riding gave me back my freedom
Jacob Newkirk – Owensboro, KY
Two years ago, I couldn't walk from my house to the corner and back without a cane and a stop to rest, because of spinal stenosis. My neurologist advised me to try a bike.
I was skeptical at best, but that cheap big-box cruiser has given me back my mobility and my freedom!
In just a year's time, I have gone from being almost immobilized to able to ride 10 to 15 miles a day one to three days a week. I don't ride fast, but I ride as often as I can, even if it's just a few trips around the block. I love my bike, and I love that I can ride again.
