A little adventure, twice a day
Chris Campbell – Traverse City, MI
This winter I continued commuting to work on my bike, every day that I did not need a car for work-related activity. Oh yeah, there were two days when the weather forecast included enough snow that I knew the ride home would be torture, so I drove. Commuting on the bike saves parking money, wear and tear on the car, and the cost of gas, but better still, it makes me feel good when I reach work and when I get home. The cool studded tires make it safe. A lot of lights, flashing and steady, warn the cars that I’m there too. A helmet liner keeps my bald head warm. I have a little adventure twice a day and when spring comes my legs and my butt are already in biking mode. Can’t beat that.
