HB 2682 would ensure the safety of bike riders in Oregon. Under current law, bike lanes are not clearly defined to continue through an intersection. This lack of clarity in bike laws causes confusion to all users of the road and does not protect a bike rider in the event of a crash. If this bill passes, a rider’s rights in an intersection would be clarified as well as the legal decision making in the event of a crash.

Use the form at right to urge Oregon Senators to vote yes on this bill and protect people who ride bikes throughout the state.
