In 2014, the city of Pittsburgh built a protected bike lane on Penn Avenue from 6th to 16th St.
Completed in 2014 as the city's first protected lane, the Saline Street lane runs between Greenfield Avenue and Swinburne Street (connecting with the Panther Hollow Trail) in Greenfield.
Built in 2014, the Schenley Park protected lane is on Shenley Drive in Oakland from Schenley Plaza to Anderson Playground.
