Sales tax reform could benefit bike shops

Sales tax reform may not sound exciting but trust us, there’s something big in it for local bike shops.

By shopping online, consumers can avoid paying state sales tax. Now there’s an opportunity to level the playing field.

Congress is considering a bill that would enable states to collect sales tax from online purchases. Plain and simple, we think closing this loophole will bring customers back to small businesses, including bike shops.
