On April 22, Indianapolis launched Indiana Pacers Bikeshare, named for the Indianapolis basketball team after a philanthropic contribution from the Herb Simon Foundation.

In the seven weeks following the launch, riders have flocked to the sturdy yellow bikes in amazing numbers! In an article on bikeshare.com, Lisa Parks writes, “Indianapolis wasn’t known for it’s transportation options or bike friendliness until recently — when everything changed direction. It has quickly become a city to watch; and with good reason.”
