Here’s the PlacesForBikes conference agenda — early registration ends next week

March 8, 2018

There’s one week left to get an early-bird discount registration for our annual conference for city builders, to be held May 1-3 in Indianapolis.

We’ve now posted a nearly complete schedule (including breakout session descriptions) and a speaker list.

Launched last year, the PlacesForBikes conference stands out for its compact structure, its can-do attitude and its focus on cross-pollinating ideas among elected officials, public employees, community leaders/advocates and the private bicycling industry.

We’ll also be unveiling the first public round of PlacesForBikes city ratings, our new data-driven system for tracking which cities are serving their residents best on biking, and which are making local biking better fastest.

The deadline to apply for a scholarship is March 15, also next week. We’re able to offer 15 free or discounted seats to people who need help getting to the event.

Indianapolis is lovely in May, and the event includes an all-conference bike ride. We’d love to cruise beside you there.

PlacesForBikes helps U.S. communities build better biking, faster. You can follow us on LinkedIn, Twitter or Facebook or sign up for our weekly news digest about building all-ages biking networks. Story tip? Write [email protected]
