Head to Chinatown in Brooklyn for a dim sum brunch and then work off those calories on a spin around the city. After brunch, the ride will head to Dyker Heights to see the unparalleled holiday light display and then rolls to Sunset Park to take in the Manhattan skyline.

DETAILS: December 22, 12:30 p.m. in Brooklyn, New York. For more info, visit Five Borough Bicycle Club.

3. Critical Christmas Monterey

Loosely modeled after another California event where drivers decorate their semi-trucks and drive through town, this event encourages dressing up your oldest bike and singing your way through the Monterey streets. Beer follows the hour-long ride. Note: Anyone sporting a race bike will be ?made fun of relentlessly.?

Need something to wear on your holiday ride? Here are a few options:

1. Santa

It’s classic for a reason. If you?re a female, pack your stomach with a pillow and strap on that beard. If you?re a guy, start early: grow a beard and dye it white. Remember to wear your red and white pajamas and tape your Santa hat to your helmet.

2. Elf

Feel free to be a generic elf, but you get extra points for being a Will Farrell-inspired Elf or an Elf On The Shelf.

3. Ugly Christmas Sweater

Everyone loves these. The uglier the better, please.

4. Grinch

Hate the holiday season? Then here’s your perfect outfit.

Does your hometown put on a holiday bike ride? We’d love to hear about it!
